Ride My Bike

A smiling biker in his Javanese traditional costume. Hundreds of bikers rode many kinds of bicycles to participate in the Fun Bike event last Sunday, June 15, 2008.
This event was held to celebrate the second anniversary of a CDMA telecommunication company in Semarang and as a campaign for saving energy and “Go Green” things.

I have a bike in Semarang which I use on my visits there.I bought it from Wim Cycles.It’s great fun amongst all the traffic especially around Simpang Lima.Trips to the upper town are tough in the heat and humidity !!

Hello everyone, I have been surfing around this blog in hopes of being better to understand the society in semerang. I will be visiting semerang in the summer vacation hopefully. I hope you could answer some questions.
would the muslim women also participate in these kind of events?
How would you describe the people of semerang?
and a complete other question: could u pls direct me to some websites who could inform about different volonteer projects in semerang, for example in mosques etc?
