Car Free Day

Collaboration of Reog, Barongsay, and Capoeira performance, at the opening ceremony of Car Free Day event in Semarang. This performance took place at Taman KB, and awarded by MURI as the first of this kind in the world. The Car Free Day event is held every Sunday at Jl Pemuda, Jl Pahlawan, and Simpanglima.
Warak Ngendhog

Warak Ngendhog is an imaginary creature in Semarang. Its body is like goat but its head is like Chinese Dragon and it carries egg. It represents three ethnic groups in Semarang: Javanese, Chinese and Arabian.
Warak Ngendhog Parade is held along Jalan Pemuda Semarang during the Dugderan Carnival, right one day before Ramadan as the culmination of the Annual Dugderan Festival in Semarang. This year it is on August 10, 2010. It starts from Semarang City Hall to The Grand Mosque.

Central Java Art and Cultural Parade 2010

On August 7, 2010 many dancers and performers from every regency and city of Central Java showed their best appearance to The Governor on The Central Java Art and Cultural Parade 2010 along Jalan Pahlawan, Semarang.
This event was held to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Central Java Province.
Oriental Circus Indonesia in Semarang

An elephant standing on the hind legs in Oriental Circus Indonesia (OCI) show. Oriental Circus Indonesia will entertain people in Semarang City from July 17 until August 17, 2010 at Garnisun Kalisari field. They will perform many attractions such as plastic girl, air acrobatics, tigers, elephants, chimpanzee, cockatoos show and many more.
